Rebranding for Cafe Punta del Cielo
Cafe Punta del Cielo is one of Mexico’s most prominent coffee brands and requires a significant redesign to keep up with the competition. With the international players getting into the market and the smaller coffee brands re-launching their brands in more contemporary design-oriented concepts, Cafe Punta del Cielo started to feel outdated. In partnership with Buensalto, a communications agency, we engineered the rebranding proposal for the coffee brand. We constructed a new concept from the ground up, from a new name to new retail typologies.
Being the original coffee shop in Mexico, we wanted to honor that and bring back the glory to the brand. However, serving a high-quality cup of coffee is not enough to satisfy a sophisticated consumer looking to make a statement when choosing their “cup.” Our strategy involved a luxurious look and a lofty experience for the patrons. Gold and dark tones boost the rich aroma, while meticulous lighting emphasizes the details and products. The brand’s values inspired the fresh proposal with a new twist that brings excitement back to the patrons.
