Urban sanctuary

This remote residence is a space inspired by luxury hotel living. The service areas such as the kitchen and laundry room are detached from the areas where the “hotel guests” reside. The resident enjoys a personal and luxurious pool. The Art collection was curated using the top galleries in Mexico city.

Since the residence would be used mainly by one person most of the time, it was not necessary to offer a living room space that facilitates conversation. Instead the couch area offered a place of meditation, reading and repose which could also be integrated to the terrace if came the occasion. The use of dark accent colors allows us to use dramatic and calculated lighting making the space more cozy and inviting.

To expand the capacity of the daytime area, the terrace was integrated to the living room space.
